ScentStop is a trading name operated by Stop Retail Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17447136, with its registered office at 26 Holly Road, Wigan, United Kingdom, WN2 1RY.

Stop Retail Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. A named data protection contact will be published here before online sales open.

Only what the site genuinely uses today:

• Account identity. Your email address, and a name or profile picture if you provide one or if it comes from the sign-in provider you chose.
• Saved fragrances. The fragrances you save to your account.
• Delivery addresses and preferences. Only where you enter them yourself in your account.
• Enquiries. The name, email and message you send through Contact.
• Partnership applications. The contact, organisation and location information submitted when applying, and organisation and location records for approved partners.
• Technical and security information. Data needed to keep you signed in, protect our forms from abuse and keep the service running.

Online ordering is not open, so no order or payment information is collected at present. When it opens, this notice will be updated before it is.

We rely on performing a contract with you where you hold an account, our legitimate interests in running and protecting ScentStop and in responding to business enquiries, your consent where we ask for it, and legal obligation where one applies.

We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers to host the site, run our database and authentication and deliver essential email. They process information on our instructions only.

Some of these providers operate infrastructure outside the UK, so information may be transferred internationally with appropriate safeguards. The full list of providers and applicable transfer safeguards will be published before online sales open.

Account information is kept while your account is open. Enquiries and partnership applications are kept while relevant to the conversation and to our records. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove information we no longer need to hold.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to your information, correction of it, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability where it applies. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where we relied on it.
